They are actually 2-way glasses; that is, they can see you but you cannot see them. Yes people actually install these 2-way glasses in place of mirrors in hotel rooms, bathrooms, changing rooms, etc. Now that you have heard it, do not be afraid. You can always know if a mirror is real mirror or a 2-way glass
by carrying out this simple test.
To determine exactly what type of mirror we are looking at, we need to know one of the features of real mirrors.
Place the tip of your finger against the reflective surface. If there is a GAP between your real finger tip and the tip of the image of the finger on the mirror, it is a genuine mirror.
If your finger directly TOUCHES the tip of the image on the mirror, it is a 2-way glass. Do not use it.
